Steel And Rye

Milton, MA

The Steel & Rye, a high class restaurant and bar in the Lower Mills area of Milton MA, wanted to lower the noise level that separated the kitchen and dining area of the restaurant. The restaurant had a beautiful high wooden ceiling, with exposed beams and a very open feel to it. The walls dividing the kitchen and dining area did not go to the structured ceiling, allowing noise to travel from the busy kitchen, over the wall, to the customer’s table.

With our REVRB Acoustical Panel and Baffles, we were able to provide an acoustical product that allowed sound absorption and still had an open feel. Custom-made Acoustic Baffles were hung over the wall that divided the kitchen and dining area. These baffles allowed absorption on both sides (of which they were hung), instead of just one side, like many acoustic products. The ridged wooden frame allowed for proper hanging without any sag. Custom colors, sizes, and design allow us to match any décor. They can also be hung with stainless hardware, which was consistent with the rigid look that Steel & Rye maintains. After the install of the baffles, the noise coming from the kitchen was reduced, allowing customers to maintain comfortable dining, no matter how busy they were.
